Ethnopoetics

So using our transcripts from our interview, we had to create a poem using our participant's words in a way to sum up the theme of the interview. We flip through the pages and take down lines, in order, that reflect the theme. So here are two I created:

I just love something about the snowy forest

there's something there

Whoa!

Magical world

Mystical fantasy realm

And I'll take a moment

to stand there

In nature honestly

I like being alone

Reflection

Solitude

I like it

I value it 

Reflection

Alone with your mind

I love fall and winter

I see it as a conflict

Leaves falling 

Trees fighting against the cold

Summer is harmonious

Everything is blooming 

In winter 

I bundle up

I see my breath

Extreme conditions

Summer

right temperatures

noises of animals

Nature

It's therapeutic in conflict
